ReplyDeleteAny disease for that matter is devastating to any dog owner. My Labrador died (she reached 10 years old) of renal failure and up to this day, whenever I think how she just deteriorated - I still cry a lot. We managed the disease for around two years but I guess my old girl was really tired and her body is not up to it. I just hope that more will be learned to manage and prevent the disease. This site has helped me a lot by giving me the information I needed back then: http://dogsaholic.com/care/renal-failures-in-dogs.html
